Nike Air Max 97: Exiting Green/Grey combo added to the collection.

Several Nike silhouettes are considered iconic, like the Air Max 90 or the Air Force 1 Low, and the Air Max 97. The Air Max 97 is one of the most beloved sneakers ever as it was first introduced in 1997 by the designer Christian Tresser. It gained popularity due to its unique design inspired by the Japanese bullet trains’ aesthetic. Nike released a lot of different color schemes of this silhouette over the years, but concept artists use Air Max 97 canvas to bring us bold and color-rich designs.

All these years, Nike collaborated with different brands and celebrities to drop Air Max 97 collections, but the color schemes were calmer and even classic compared to its design, unlike the other Air Maxes. The Air Max 97 design put the Air unit technology to the next level, it extends the entire length of the sole as it offers more support and responsiveness. Today, we are introducing this interesting design featuring a modern palette.

In fact, we saw a neon green touch in Nike’s “Home And Away” pack in 2019, that represents the city of Dallas. This concept pair features a vivid green upper with deep black and dim grey accents all over. White and Green leather covers the side panels while the grey shade is seen on the tongue and the the middle leather stripe. The first leather stripe is covered in green while the back mesh is seen in a clean white colorway, the lacing system is painted in black as well as the third stripe, giving the pair a luxurious look. The heel tabs are in matching green while the exterior is painted in a white color. The Nike swoosh are seem to be in silver tone on both sides, the midsole comes in black while the air units are in fresh green and white rubber outsoles to make this pair look real and wearable. The air unit of this pair is imagined to glow in the dark as neon green. It would be a hit if Nike thought of releasing like this green pair, as they released different tones of greens but such green or even neon green is not available yet.

As sneakerheads, it is fun to see or create such art to enjoy unique designs, it is sometimes seen in such colors done by sneaker customization artists; however, if Nike dropped designs like this and took artists’ ideas into consideration, maybe it will definitely gain love and recognition. if you want to check other concept sneakers, stay tuned.
