The Air Max 90 will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year and to honor this impressive milestone, Nike has designed three Air Max 90s. Each design features a duck camo on its upper, the first pair was covered in a bright red, as a call back to the Atmos Air Max 90 “Duck Hunter Camo” released in 2013, and it was shortly followed by the Air Max 90 Green Duck Camo back in May. Last but not least, this June, we are expecting the drop of the Air Max 90 Orange Duck Camo.
This Nike Air Max 90 boasts an orange upper build-up with mesh and leather with synthetic “duck camo” overlays. An eye-catching duck camo pattern covers the mudguard and around the eyelets. The Camo camouflage features a fusion of earthy tones of orange, brown, and black, taking the standard military-inspired camo to the next level. The Nike Swooshes are displayed on both sides and TPU accents will be black, and the sole will consist of white foam with an orange rubber outsole. All of the Nike branding elements are staying the same in every Air Max line. The cushioning technology is improved in this pair, the Air Max unit is designed to provide comfort and a responsive ride. Nike used premium materials to ensure the fit and the pair features a padded collar as well as cushioning in the insoles to provide more support to the foot.
This unique and bold design of the Nike Air Max 90 Orange Duck Camo will differently be the perfect choice for sneaker enthusiasts, as it fits a wide range of outfits for various occasions, whether casual or even fashion events. The previous 2 duck camo releases are anything to go by, the Nike Air Max 90 Orange Duck Camo should sell out relatively quickly, and resell for just above their $130 retail price. This is thanks to the shoes’ similar appearance to the Atmos “Duck Hunter Camo,” although, the Duck Camo Infrared’s released on this year’s Air Max day, the hype surrounding the models seems to have dropped off slightly.
We have not yet been given a release date for the Air Max 90 Orange Duck Camo, except for Europe, where it is slated to drop on the 16th of July, so it is likely the rest of the world will be able to get their hands on a pair not too long after that.
