The Nike Air Max 270 React was released on the 3rd of July 2019 and is a much-needed tech upgrade to the Air Max 270 and that’s to provide extra comfort and support. The Air Max 270 has a 32 mm Air unit in the heel, but what it adds in looks, it loses in comfort, hence why Nike decided to incorporate their comfy React foam technology in the midsole, in order to give a more cushioned experience without changing the identity of the shoe. The Nike Air Max 270 React features a more stylish upper than the original 270 models, utilizing many premium and breathable fabrics layered over each other, not too dissimilar from the Nike React Element 87. The shoe features React cushioning around the front of the midsole, and a large Air bubble under the heel, but the only difference to the original from a looks perspective, is that the React foam is shaped in zigzag patterns that come from the bottom of the sole. Other interesting differences to the original model, are the separated tongue, and the circular rubber pods on the outsole, instead of the standard rectangular-shaped pods that feature on most of the new Air Max models. These all modifications are made to enhance the overall performance of the shoe.
